How Your Donation Makes a Difference

  • Emergency Equipment: Your contributions help purchase life-saving firefighting tools, rescue gear, and protective equipment for our dedicated first responders.

  • Training & Safety Programs: Donations help fund specialized training for our firefighters, ensuring they are prepared to handle the most challenging situations. Your support also helps fund community outreach programs focused on fire safety and prevention.

  • Community Outreach & Engagement: Your donation enables us to strengthen the bond between the fire department and the community it serves. We provide valuable programs, educational materials, and events to keep residents informed and safe.

Two Ways to Give

1. Donation Fund

Your donation to the Donation Fund helps support the wide range of initiatives mentioned above. Every dollar raised contributes to essential firefighting equipment, training programs, and community engagement efforts. By giving to the Donation Fund, you help ensure the Greenwood Fire Department has the tools and resources it needs to effectively serve our community.

2. Mobility Fund

The Mobility Fund is a dedicated initiative designed to support individuals in need of mobility aids. Through this program, we provide new or gently used mobility equipment and financial assistance for the purchase of necessary items to help those with limited mobility live with greater independence.

  • Gently Used Mobility Equipment: We welcome donations of gently used mobility aids such as wheelchairs, walkers, and scooters. Your donations help individuals in our community who need these items but may not have the means to acquire them.

  • Monetary Donations: Financial contributions to the Mobility Fund enable us to purchase new mobility equipment and ensure we can continue to serve those in need.

Please note that donations to the Mobility Fund are separate from the Donation Fund. Your contribution to this fund will directly support individuals in need of mobility aids, while donations to the Donation Fund support the Greenwood Fire Department's overall mission.

Ways to Donate

  • One-Time Donation: Make a one-time contribution to the fund of your choice by either mail or online donation. Every dollar counts and goes directly to enhancing the resources of either the Greenwood Fire Department or the Mobility Program. Checks can be mailed to 155 E. Main St. Greenwood, IN, 46143

  • Monthly Giving: Become a sustaining donor by setting up a monthly contribution. Your ongoing support ensures that we can continue our important work year-round.

  • In-Kind Donations: We also accept donations of goods or services that can benefit the fire department, the Mobility Program, or our community events.
